<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer supply device having a developer storing container designed such that even if it is of the type where developer is stored in a flexible container, an information recording part securely becomes conductive with an image forming apparatus body without being soiled by developer upon the setting of the flexible container on it, and to provide an image forming apparatus equipped with the same. <P>SOLUTION: The developer supply device is equipped with the developer storing container 58 having a bag-like developer containing body 59 formed of flexible material to accommodate developer therein and configured so that a developer storing containing body 59 reduces capacity as it discharges its content. The developer containing body 59 has at least one planar part 59a, and is provided with an information recording part 77 for recording information read by the image forming apparatus body on the planar part 59a, and a fixing member 90 holding the developer storing container 58 therein and fixing the plane part 59a of the developer containing body 59 relative to the image forming apparatus body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
