PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fascia plate device for an elevator with dramatically improved installability. SOLUTION: The fascia plate device 4 for an elevator includes: panels disposed in a space between a landing sill 1 and a landing door device 2 adjacent to the landing sill 1, and closing the space from a central side of a hoistway; guide rails 6 for panels, disposed to a landing-side wall face 3 in the hoistway, guiding movement of the panels 5 in a perpendicular direction, and restricting movement in a horizontal direction of the panels 5; and support bodies 12 for panels restricting downward movement of the panels 5.
