LINEAR LIGHT SOURCE, PLANAR LIGHT UNIT, AND DISPLAY

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear light source, a planar light unit, and a display, wherein intensity of light emitted from a linear light guide body is increased by improving incidence efficiency from a point light source and luminance unevenness is improved by further improving luminance uniformity.

SOLUTION: The planar light unit is provide with the linear light guide body 2 which has a long shape and has an optical shape to refract light applied on an incident face 2a and an outgoing face 2b of light out of the side face and a plurality of point light sources 3 which are arranged in a row on the incident face 2a side of light of the side face of the linear light guide body 2. The plurality of point light source 3 and the linear light guide body 2 are fixed by a transparent adhesive 4 formed of a light transmission material.
