<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building unit capable of performing efficient seismic control of shaking of a building without complicating work. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A seismic control device 22 restrains the relative displacement of a ceiling girder 42 and a floor girder 52 in an earthquake or the like to reduce shaking of the building unit 60. When the seismic control device 22 deviates in an out-of-plane direction, force to be input to a damper 74 is reduced by that portion, and there is a risk of not sufficiently exhibiting a damping effect. However, if the deviation of a fixed frame 12 of the seismic control device 22 is prevented by lateral rails 76B of an external wall and lateral rails 84 of an internal wall, the force to be input to the damper 74 can be input to the damper 74 without being reduced, and the damping effect by the damper 74 can be fully exhibited. Providing an external wall panel or an internal wall panel with a deviation preventing means is less restricted in mounting than mounting the deviation preventing means to a skeleton or a vertical member, and mounting of the deviation preventing means can be completed only by mounting the panel provided with the deviation preventing means as usual, and work is facilitated.
