<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing capable of reducing wear under a lubrication condition mixed with hard foreign matters as one type of wear of the bearing. Ž<P>SOLUTION: At least the axial intermediate part of a shaft 8 is hardened by heat treatment, and a hard coating 12 is applied to the rolling surface of at least any one of the shaft 8, an outer ring 9 and a rolling element 10. The dynamic hardness of the hard coating 12 is set to be ≥HD 800 and ≤HD 2,000, and the coating thickness δ2 of the hard coating 12 is set to be 1 to 5 μm.
