<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing apparatus capable of shortening a process time after photographing, capable of obtaining a display type such as a display color etc. of photography related information including a date, a photographing place, and a photographer before photographing, and capable of making the whole photograph which copies the photography related information therein to be high quality. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The photographing apparatus produces image data after photographing an object, and acquires the photography related information to be embedded in the image data as a part of the image data at the time of photographing. The apparatus comprises acquiring means for acquiring a photographing mode, determining means for determining whether the photographing mode acquired by the acquiring means has setting for enhancing the photography related information, and embedding means for embedding the photography related information into the image data by a type responding to a result of determination of the determining means.
