<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system including a butterfly valve capable of sufficiently ensuring cut off property. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system 1 includes a fuel cell 10, air supply piping 21 and air exhaust piping 22 both connected to the fuel cell 10 and through which air flows. Butterfly valves 40A, 40B controlling the flow rate of air are installed in the air supply piping 21 and the air exhaust piping 22. The butterfly valves 40A 40B are normal close structure, and include a cylindrical housing 41; a circular valve sheet part 42 installed along the inner wall surface of the housing 41; a valve body 43 installed on one end surface side of the valve sheet part 42; and a shaft axis 45 passing through the valve body 43 and pivotally mounted. A valve seal surface 44 seating in the valve sheet part 42 of the valve body 43 is arranged on the fuel cell 10 side, and the shaft axis 45 is offset on the opposite side of the fuel cell 10 relative to the valve body 43. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
