<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a column and a vertical member from being buckled, broken, or bent by reinforcing a column itself using a member used for vibration resistance and vibration damping in a wall structure. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This wall structure 3 comprising upper and lower horizontal members and right and left columns includes a member for increasing a resistance force against the deflection and the extraction of the columns over the generally entire length of the columns in addition to the horizontal members 2 and the columns 1. The right and left columns are reinforced by joining to the member for increasing the resistance force against the deflection and extraction of the columns. The extraction resistance of the columns is increased by joining the upper and lower ends of the member for increasing the resistance force against the deflection and extraction of the columns to the upper horizontal member and the lower horizontal member, respectively. The member for increasing the resistance force against the deflection and extraction of the columns for reinforcing the right and left columns may be joined with a vibration damper.
