ELECTROSTATICALLY CHARGED FILTERING MEDIUM, AIR FILTER WITH ELECTROSTATICALLY CHARGED FILTERING MEDIUM, AND PLANT AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatically charged filter which features low pressure loss, high dust capturing efficiency and functional stability, as well as can reduce a load over HEPA and ULPA filters of an air-conditioning system without lowering the dust capturing efficiency of an electrically charged moderate performance filter. SOLUTION: An air filter is made of an electrostatically charged filtering medium which is composed of an electrostatically charged fiber with a fiber charge density of 0.7×10-6to 4×10-6C/m2per unit fiber area, and has a fiber overall length of 2.2×106to 8.8×106m per square meter of the filtering medium and a fiber charge density of 1.1×10-4to 1.6×10-4C per square meter of the filtering medium.
