摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation controlling device capable of charging a battery efficiently during deceleration of the engine, while suppressing deterioration of the exhaust emission. SOLUTION: The power generation controlling device of a generator 10 for vehicle to be driven by the engine during deceleration for charging the battery 16 is equipped with a catalyst 20 arranged in the exhaust passage of the engine 14, an air quantity regulating means 22 to regulate the air quantity flowing into the engine 14, a battery residual amount sensing means 54, a fuel supply cutting means 18 to cut the fuel being supplied to the engine 14 during a period from the deceleration being started till the engine speed dropping to the fuel supply resuming speed, a generated voltage controlling means 18 to raise the generated voltage of the generator 10 when the fuel supply to the engine 14 is being cut, and an air quantity controlling means 18 to control the air quantity regulating means 22 for increasing the air quantity flowing into the engine 14 in case the battery residual amount sensed by the residual amount sensing means 54 is less when the fuel supply to the engine 14 is being cut.
