<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a directional coupler with a compact size, high isolation obtained, excellent directionality and excellent reflecting property. <P>SOLUTION: Electric power resulting from electric power coupling is decreased by providing a line 21b different in line width in a subsidiary line 2b to be offset by electric power generated by magnetic field coupling, so that electric power flowing into an isolation port 20c is restrained to obtain the high isolation. Reflecting electric power arising from providing the line 21b different in line width in a subsidiary line 2b is improved by connecting the subsidiary line 2b, a coupling port 20a, and the isolation port 20c, respectively via impedance matching devices 20ab, 20bc. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
