PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving picture recording apparatus capable of obtaining only voice data as another file in addition to a voice data attached moving picture file. SOLUTION: An image processing section 37 integrates moving picture data obtained through an imaging system including a CCD 23 through photographing for voice data attached moving pictures and voice data obtained through a microphone section 7 and a voice processing section 39, generates a voice attached moving picture file of a prescribed form and records the file to a memory 38. The voice attached moving picture file recorded in the memory 38 is read and reproduced as a processing object, voice data are extracted for that time according to designation of a user, and the voice data are assembled into a file, which is recorded in the memory 38 as another file.
