The present invention relates to solid or semi-solid pharmaceutical composition adapted for oral administration comprising drospirenone molecularly dispersed at least in one pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The composition must be absorbed from the gastro-intestinal tract, have high bioavailability, good chemical stability, and fast in-vitro dissolution release and can be produced under conditions, which do not require costly equipment or safety guards. The invention also relates to a process for obtaining such composition comprising the steps of: a) providing Drospirenone and one or more carrier (s); b) dissolving the Drospirenone completely in the one or more carrier (s); and c) optionally, drying the mixture obtained in step b).
