PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a sacrificial material for an aluminum alloy cladding material for a heat exchanger which can obtain sufficient corrosion prevention effect even if cooling water is made into a strong alkali environment, and generates no through pitting corrosion at the initial stage, and to provide a method for producing an aluminum alloy cladding material for a heat exchanger. Ž
SOLUTION: An aluminum alloy ingot including 3.0 to 8.0% Zn, 0.5 to 1.0% Si, 0.5 to 1.0% Fe and 0.1 to 0.2% Ti, and the balance Al with impurities is subjected to homogenizing treatment at 580 to 600°C for ≥3 hr. Thereafter, a cooling rate to 450°C is controlled to ≥1,000°C/h, and further, the subsequent hot rolling is performed at ≤450°C, thus additional elements solid-soluted in aluminum are dissolved and re-precipitated in an alkali solution, so as to densely form the hydroxide of the additional elements on a surface and to suppress dissolution. In this way, aluminum alloy cladding material exhibiting satisfactory corrosion resistance in an alkali corrosive liquid is achieved. Ž
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
