摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generally miniaturize a production system in which a plurality of operation processes are performed for workpieces in order by robots installed in respective process areas arranged parallel to each other along a workpiece conveying path. <P>SOLUTION: This production system 11 is constructed by arranging a plurality of work stations 14-17 each having a robot 12 which performs operations for the workpieces W along the work conveying path 13 through which the workpieces W are conveyed. The base of the robot 12 is connected to the lower surface of a mobile body movable on the lower surface side of a linear movement rail 18. A horizontal swing arm 21 is attached to the lower surface of the base rotatably about the vertical axis J1. A lifting body is vertically movably attached to the end surface of the horizontal swing arm 21. A wrist section is attached to the lower surface side of the lifting body coaxially rotatably about the vertical axis.
