<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of uniformizing a toner deposition state in a toner reservoir part of a toner replenish device when replacing a toner storage container, and capable of eliminating erroneous detection by a toner residual amount detecting means. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device has the toner replenish device provided with the toner storage container, a toner supply means for supplying toner, the toner reservoir part for holding removably the toner storage container and for reserving the supplied toner, a stirring means for stirring the toner reserved in the toner reservoir part, a stirring driving means for driving the stirring means, and the toner residual amount detecting means arranged in the toner reservoir part, and for detecting a toner amount in the toner reservoir part, the image forming device has further a control means for controlling an operation of the stirring driving means, the stirring driving means is speed-variable, and the control means controls an operation speed of the stirring driving means to be quickened, when the toner storage container is attached to the toner reservoir part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
