<p>A backpack comprising a bag part for accommodating goods, two shoulder belts extending from a superior area of the bag part and two waist belts extending from both sides of an inferior area of the bag part. The two shoulder belts and the two waist belts are coupled with each other The two waist belts are provided with stretch parts. The stretch parts are provided in the region of the waist belts between the inferior area of the bag part and the shoulder belt coupling area. The stretch parts preferably consist of an elastomer capable of stretching substantially only in the direction of extension of the waist belts. Preferably, a flat rubber is used as the elastomer.</p>
