PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag ripping device with such advantages that the bag can be efficiently ripped without fail, smooth selecting operation can be efficiently performed, the structure of the device is simple, durable and best-suited for easy handling, mass-production and high economy, as well as the ripped bag hardly winds on the bag ripping rotary cutter and is unravelled quickly even when winding, and the continuous bag ripping operation can be achieved. SOLUTION: This bag ripping device includes a bag ripping rotary cutter A, a bag presser B and a wrap-proof rotator C. The bag ripping rotary cutter A has a rotating shaft 1 and a plurality of cutter plates 10, the bag presser B has a plurality of pressing pieces 20 and optionally, a biasing means, and the wrap-proof rotator C has a rotating shaft 30 and a plurality of scraper pieces 40. In addition, between the bag ripping rotary cutter A and the bag presser B, a refuse bag conveying path is formed, and under this design, the refuse bag is thrust to the bag ripping rotary cutter A side by means of the pressing piece 20. Thus, the bag ripping device is constituted so that the bag is ripped by means of the cutter plate 10 and the ripped bag can be prevented from winding on the bag ripping rotary cutter A by the scraper piece 40.
