<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structural member for fuel cell having mechanical strength, preventing elution of metal ions when it is incorporated in a fuel cell, as well as a fuel cell incorporating the structural member. <P>SOLUTION: The structural member 10 for fuel cell disposed between a separator 30A and one side of an MEA 20 and between a separator 30B and the other side of an MEA 20, includes a resin containing a material for mechanical strength including glass base, the structural member having a peripheral section 12 of an exposure hole 11 and through-holes 17A to 17F and non-peripheral region 13 other than the peripheral section, wherein content of the glass base to the resin in the peripheral section 12 is less than that in the non-peripheral region 13.
