<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a main-rope support broadening a biting width while maintaining the strength of a main-rope support clamp and capable of being used even for a member having a broad width. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The main-rope support is composed of a support body having a main-rope support mounting section in an upper section, a support clamp body and a support-clamp collar tool. The support body, the support clamp body and a support-clamp lower collar tool are unified. The support clamp body and the support-clamp collar tool are fitted temporarily by clamping a plurality of holes formed at the support clamp body and a plurality of the holes formed at the support-clamp collar tool by clamping parts such as bolts, and widths of the support clamp body and the support-clamp collar tool can be adjusted by stepwise.
