PURPOSE: A method for searching similar contents including a set of keywords is provided to calculate similarity between the contents which have a plurality of keywords with the one dimension real number value. CONSTITUTION: A method for searching similar contents including a set of keywords comprises a linear keyword ontology preparation step, and a keyword similarity including the evaluation phase. The linear keyword ontology preparation step collects keywords connected to the contents from the contents. The relevant contents about each keyword are indexed. The ontology map is created which is given the contents distance coefficient according to the presence of the appropriate keyword between the comparison destination contents. In the keyword similarity estimation step, a random content including a single or plurality of keywords is inputted as a query, the keyword is extracted from the input. In a linear keyword ontology map creating step, the keyword similarity is estimated by the contents relative distance coefficient assigned to individual keyword are added to the relative distance coefficient between contents.
