<p>The door locking system for a household appliance (1) may lock the door in a partially-open position. It has a main bolt spring-loaded by a main spring. It has a detector determining the state of the door together with a locking mechanism. The detector and the lock may be electrically connected together in series, and there is a thermoelectric PTC actuator (24) which may move the bolt. The actuator has an electromagnet (26) and a moving armature (28). There is a door contact line (16) and first and second door contacts (48).</p> |
