PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve insert clamping strength by securing strength and rigidity of a cutter body at the periphery of a recessed part even in case where the interval between recesses where an insert mounting seat and an insert clamping wedge are pushed in is necessarily limited by a multiblade constitution. SOLUTION: In the insert-attachable cutter, a cutting insert to be seated on the insert mounting seat 4 formed on the cutter body 1 is clamped to be detachably fixed by a clamping surface 14 as the insert clamping wedge 10 is pushed into recesses 6 formed to be continuous with the insert mounting seat 4. The periphery 5A of an opening part of the recess 6 on the cutter body 1 is formed as a recessed surface that is gradually protruded on the opposite side to the pushed-in direction of the insert clamping wedge 10 toward both end sides of the extension direction of the clamping surface 14 at a cross section perpendicular to the pushed-in direction.
