PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flowmeter having raised accuracy of ON/OFF display of a flow pilot display. SOLUTION: When a pilot flame ignition type gas apparatus to be ignited by a pilot flame is included as a gas apparatus for a gas supply object, this gas meter capable of pilot flame registering for registering at least existence of the pilot flame ignition type gas apparatus as the gas supply object, includes a switching means for switching a display state for performing the flow pilot display to/from a non-display state for not performing the flow pilot display, and a pilot flame registering time switching condition which is a switching condition when the pilot flame is registered is different from a pilot flame non-registering time switching condition which is a switching condition when the pilot flame is not registered, and the pilot flame registering time switching condition is severer than the pilot flame non-registering time switching condition.
