<p>Disclosed is a composite material for imparting flame retardancy that has a high level of flame retardancy, is low at cost, is easy to handle, and is environmentally friendly. Also disclosed is a composite material formed of a new material for imparting flame retardancy that can provide a flame retardant molded product. The composite material for imparting flame retardancy is characterized by comprising a water soluble inorganic polymer, a surfactant, and water. In the composite material, a metal oxide is preferably contained, the water soluble inorganic polymer is preferably poly aluminum chloride, or the surfactant is a soap derived from vegetable oil and fat. Further disclosed is a flame retardant molded product obtained by molding the composite material for imparting flame retardancy.</p> |
