<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer device capable of automatically controlling the cutting position, depending on the length of boarding pass of one boarding pass among a series of a plurality of boarding passes, which is not loaded with the sensor for detecting a constricted portion as a joint between a stub and a ticket or between tickets. <P>SOLUTION: The proposed printer device drives a conveyance unit to forward the end position of a medium by an amount of feed corresponding to a first boarding pass length from a cutting position (S103), and moves a cutter in the vertical directions, to attempt a cutting operation at the cutting position (S104). When the cutting operation has been performed successfully, the boarding pass length of one boarding pass among a series of boarding passes to be processed is set as the first boarding pass length. When the cutting operation is performed unsuccessfully, the conveyance unit is driven to forward the end position of the medium by an amount of feed, corresponding to the difference between the first boarding pass length and a second boarding pass length which is larger than the first boarding pass length (S109), and the cutting operation is attempted once again, by moving a cutter vertically, in the cutting position (S104). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
