<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect the temperature of the rotor of a rotary electric machine. <P>SOLUTION: The rotary electric machine includes: a stator 4; a rotor 2 rotatably supported in the stator 4 with a predetermined gap in-between; and an RFID tag 1 with a temperature sensor provided in the rotor 2. Temperature sensing data transmitted from the RFID tag 1 with the temperature sensor is received by an RFID tag read/write terminal 5 and input to a vehicle controller 6.
