PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-corrosive ionic liquid excellent in anticorrosiveness to metals, and to provide a lubricating oil composition containing the above liquid as the base oil, low in ignition risk, having high heat resistance and good low-temperature fluidity, and excellent in anticorrosiveness. SOLUTION: The low-corrosive ionic liquid comprises (A) an ionic liquid and (B) a nitrogen-containing compound other than the ionic liquid.
