<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fine porous membrane especially suitable for a separator or the like for a nonaqueous electrolyte battery, required to be excellent in heat resistance and long-term reliability. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The fine porous membrane comprising a polyolefin resin, a modified polyolefin and a filler is regulated so that the content of the filler is >10 mass% and ≤80 mass% based on the whole mass of the fine porous membrane.
