PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete structure of an X-ray foreign matter detector for responding to a request of high-level sanitary property. SOLUTION: In the X-ray foreign matter detector 1, a casing 2 includes an upper casing 2a and a lower casing 2b disposed across a product area P through which a product passes, the upper casing includes an X-ray generator 6 and the lower casing includes an X-ray detector 7. A lower surface 8 of the upper casing 2a and an upper surface (bottom surface of the product area) 9 of the lower casing 2b are inclined. A carrying table 20 for horizontally guiding a carrying belt is set on the bottom surface. In inspection with X-ray, the carrying belt carries the product stably in the horizontal direction within the product area along the carrying table. In cleaning, the bottom surface is exposed and cleaned by removing the carrying means and the carrying table from the casing.
