PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bristle material for a polishing brush, excellent in a polishing property, heat resistance, fibril resistance and grinding material particle falling resistance, and displaying continuous polishing performance, and also to provide the polishing brush. SOLUTION: This bristle material for the polishing bush is constituted of a monofilament made by melt and spinning a mixture containing 5-50 pts.wt. of polishing grinding material particles based on 100 pts.wt. of polyether imide-siloxane block polymer resin (A) made by copolymerizing a polyether imide block unit and a siloxane block unit or based on 100 pts.wt. of a resin composition made by mixing less than 50 wt.% of another thermoplastic resin (B) compatible with the resin (A).
