<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a new nitrogen-containing acrylate derivative, and further a method for producing an alcohol derivative that can be used as a raw material of the nitrogen-containing acrylate derivative. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method for producing a nitrogen-containing acrylate derivative represented by the formula (in the formula, R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>, R<SP>4</SP>, R<SP>5</SP>and R<SP>6</SP>each represents a specific group) comprises causing a sulfonamide derivative and a carboxylic acid compound to react with each other to obtain a carboxylate derivative comprising a sulfamoyl group, causing the resulting carboxylate derivative comprising a sulfamoyl group to react with water and/or a 1C-4C alcohol under an alkaline condition or an acidic condition to obtain an alcohol derivative, and causing the resulting alcohol derivative to react with an acrylate derivative.
