The invention discloses a method for removing the azimuth drive or azimuth drives of a wind turbine, wherein the wind turbine comprises an azimuth bearing, which is flange-mounted to a primary frame of a nacelle and to a tower, whereby the primary frame can be rotated with respect to the tower, wherein the rotation is carried out by means of the azimuth drive or azimuth drivers, wherein the method comprises the steps of locking the primary frame to the tower, the locking being done such that a rotation of the nacelle with respect to the tower is prevented, and removing the azimuth drive or azimuth drives. |
