A subsystem for rotating articles (A), which subsystem (2) comprises a movable rotator assembly (14) that has a rotating member (18) that is releasably engagable with an article (A), as that article (A) is conveyed in a stream through a working reach of the subsystem (2), and which is operable to rotate that article (A) from a first orientation until that article assumes a desired orientation as determined by the sensor, whilst the article is being so conveyed.
