<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fast breeder reactor type nuclear power generation system capable of reducing the volume of a building and mass and of securing needed heat efficiency and reliability without having influence on other plant equipment. Ž<P>SOLUTION: For an intermediate heat exchanger 4 and a first main circulation pump 5 equipped to a fast breeder reactor type nuclear power generation system, such a built in pump type intermediate heat exchanger is used that a first main circulation pump 5 is incorporated in the internal space of the intermediate heat exchanger 4 which is cylindrically formed, needed gap is set between the inner surface of the intermediate heat exchanger 4 and the outer surface of the first main circulation pump 5, and these intermediate heat exchanger 4 and the first main circulation pump 5 are respectively fixed on the fixing parts 32, 33 which are different with each other.
