PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for specifically and easily detecting in high sensitivity norovirus existing in minute amounts in food. SOLUTION: The method comprises the following process. In order to amplify a minute amounts of norovirus gene in a food using such a detection method as to be unable to detect minute amounts of norovirus in food by NASBA method, RT-LAMP method, etc. singly, two steps of amplifying the norovirus gene are used, and different norovirus detection methods are combined with each other as to the first and the second steps.
