<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing cartridge for reducing movement of a detecting protrusion, even when an incorrect driving force is transmitted to a gear before use. <P>SOLUTION: This developing cartridge 28 is provided with: a casing (a cartridge body 60 and a cover body 70) for storing a developer; an acting part (detecting protrusion 83) provided movably with respect to the casing; a tensible long member (string body 91) relatively movable with respect to the acting part in a slackened state, and integrally movable together with the acting part in a tensioned state; a transmission gear (agitator gear 66) provided rotatably in the casing, and receiving a driving force from the outside; a tension member (winding reel 93) for pulling the long member by a driving force from the transmission gear; and a holding member (holding plate 92) for holding the long member in the slackened state, and releasing the held long member by a tensile force due to the tension member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
