<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a X-ray tube with an electric insulation part extremely hard to break by making electric discharge to the electric insulation part extremely hard to cause. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An electric resistance film 36 electrically connected to an enclosure body (a conductive part) 4 of a casing 2 of the X-ray tube 1 is applied to an outer face 10c of a bulb (the electric insulation part) 10 to stably suppress the breakage of the bulb 10 due to electric discharge. The electric resistance film 36 has one end electrically connected to the enclosure body 4 and the other end located inside the outer face 10c of the bulb 10.
