METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR INDICATING REMAINING TIME FOR TRAFFIC SIGNALS BASED ON RANDOM NUMBER GENERATORS

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for indicating remaining time for traffic signals based on random number generators are provided to reduce the risk of traffic accident by predicting the timing of the traffic light change. CONSTITUTION: A method and an apparatus for indicating remaining time for traffic signals based on random number generators indicates the remaining time produced by combining the remaining time of green light or red light with the random value generated at the random number generator(550). A step which detects the lighting time of green light and red light is included. The initialization phase is to produce the maximum value and minimum value of the random number. A random number generation step is to generate the random number within the minimum value of the random number generated in the initialization phase and range of the maximum value. The remaining time is indicated from the combination of the generated random value and detected lighting time.
