The burner system comprises burners (1) with a mixing zone (3) for fuel and air and a burner outlet (2). An acceleration zone (9) is positioned between these. Independent claims are included for: (A) gas turbines fitted with the burner system; and (B) a method for reducing self-induced flame vibrations in burners using the system.
