The connection (1) has correspondingly combinable plug-in faces with corresponding contacts such that a plug-in connector (2) e.g. power plug-in connector, is designed for mounting in a wall. A flange plate is fastened at the wall by mounting units. A plug-in connector (3) is designed for connection of a cable such that the connector (3) together with an own plug-in face partially or completely cover a fastening unit i.e. screw, for mounting the flange plate. The connector (3) is provided with openings (15) in region of the own plug-in face.
