<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation system for setting a small amount of data and lightening a communication load when communicating the data for checking a recording medium (paper). <P>SOLUTION: A server B includes a storage means for storing management information of a recording medium; an update means for updating the management information; a pattern file creation means 3 for creating a pattern file of use propriety information of the recording medium included in the management information; and a transmission means for transmitting the created file of the propriety information to an image formation device A.
