This invention provides a "hot spray repairing material" which has excellent peeling resistance and can realize short-time curing. The hot spray repairing material comprises a refractory material containing 20 to 40% by weight of grains having a size of not more than 75 µm, and a binder for forming a carbon bond by hot processing. The hot spray repairing material is characterized in that 5 to 50% by weight, based on the total amount of the refractory material and the binder, of a metal powder or an iron alloy powder containing iron (Fe) as a main component and having a grain size distribution wherein not less than 70% by weight of the grains is accounted for by grains having a grain size of not more than 1.0 mm.
