<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller that enables ensuring the performance of heat radiated, produced by a semiconductor power switching element and is advantageous for size reduction, brushless motor, and power tool. <P>SOLUTION: The motor controller includes a drive circuit board 43; FET 411 that is placed on the drive circuit board 43 and generates a current for driving the brushless motor based on power supplied from a power source; a chassis 17; and a heat conducting sheet 71. The chassis 17 is formed of a thermally conductive material and has a plane 711, placed opposite to the upper face 411b of the FET 411; the chassis supports the drive circuit board 43 via a frame 14 and radiates heat produced by the FET 411; and the heat conduction sheet 71 is provided between a plane 171 of the chassis 17 and the upper face 411b of the FET 411 and transfers heat from the FET 411 to the chassis 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
