METHOD OF DIAGNOSING DEGRADATION STATE OF INSULATION OIL IN OIL-FILLED EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp beforehand or prevent occurrence of problems such as rusting in oil-filled equipment caused by degradation of insulation oil.

SOLUTION: Saturated moisture amount of an insulation oil sample collected from the oil-filled equipment is measured and the degradation state of the insulation oil is determined from the saturated moisture amount. The saturated moisture amount is estimated from an amount of carbonyl group by quantitative analysis of the amount of carbonyl group in the insulation oil sample, for example.
