A culture vessel comprising a gas permeable film which has oxygen permeability of PO2xS/V>2.0, carbon dioxide permeability of PCO2xS/V>8.0 and water vapor permeability of PH2OxS/V<0.02 where V (ml) is a set capacity, S (cm2) is area of the gas permeable film, PO2 (ml/cm2.day.atm) is oxygen permeability at 37° C., PCO2 (ml/cm2.day.atm) is carbon dioxide permeability at 37° C., PH2O (g/cm2.day) is water vapor permeability at 37° C.
