PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction device of a V-type engine, which is compact and has a small number of components. SOLUTION: First/second throttle bodies T1, T2 arranged between first/second banks B1, B2 of the V-type engine E are arranged offset corresponding to an offset e along the axis of a crankshaft 1 of the first/second banks B1, B2 to each other. A throttle drum 12 connected with throttle operation wires 13, 14 is fixed to one of two valve shafts 6a, 6a arranged in parallel with each other of throttle valves 6, 6 of the first and second throttle bodies T1, T2, and an interlocking mechanism 15 is provided between the valve shafts 6a, 6a for interlocking these shafts. In the suction device of the V-type engine, the throttle drum 12 and the interlocking mechanism 15 having the throttle drum 12 as one element are arranged between the first and second throttle bodies T1, T2.
