PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the increase of the number of commands sent out from a game control means to a display control means even when a variable display part for variably displaying special patterns and decorative patterns is provided and display performances are made abundant. SOLUTION: A losing pattern is displayed in a special pattern display area 9A in iosing, and established patterns wherein left, right and center patterns do not match are displayed in decorative pattern display areas 9B. Also, in a jackpot, a winning pattern is displayed in the special pattern display area 9A, and the established patterns wherein the left, right and center patterns match are displayed in the decorative pattern display areas 9B. From the game control means to the display control means, a variable display pattern and information indicating winning/losing are sent out.
