<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst layer forming device capable of suppressing generation of cracks by simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The catalyst layer forming device 1 for forming a catalyst layer by drying catalyst paste 2 containing catalyst particles, an ion conductive polymer, and a solvent includes a sealed container 4 for housing a substrate sheet 3 coated with the catalyst paste 2, a solvent vapor supply means 5 supplying solvent vapor having the same component as the main solvent of solvents in the catalyst paste 2 to the sealed container 4, a vacuum pump 6 for reducing the pressure in the sealed container 4, and a pressure gage 7 for measuring the pressure in the sealed container 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
