<p>PURPOSE: An apparatus for manufacturing foamed glass is provided to lower the driving force of a crushing unit to reduce production costs. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for manufacturing foamed glass comprises a sintering unit, belt conveyor unit(21), and coarse-crushing unit(40). The sintering unit adds a blowing agent to glass powder and heats the mixture to fuse, blow, and sinter the same. The belt conveyor unit returns the mixture, which is uniformly spread on a belt, and allows it to pass through the sintering unit. The coarse-crushing unit coarsely crushes the foamed glass which is fast-chilled and has cracks thereon.</p> |
